Why Truuli Peak Counseling?

Truuli (pronounced true-lee) Peak is the highest point on the Kenai Peninsula. Choosing a local name for our business was important to reflect our lifelong connection to the community, as well as our love for the outdoors and the peninsula’s natural beauty.

Historically, Truuli Peak served as a reference point for early travelers navigating across the region. For us, it represents the importance of having a waypoint in our own lives—helping us recognize where we are and how to move toward where we want to go. As the highest point, it also reflects the value of gaining perspective. From the summit, with a bird’s-eye view of the surrounding area, new routes and possibilities often become clear in ways they might not otherwise.

Areas of Practice

COUNSELING

TPC provides marital and premarital counseling, family therapy, children's therapy, parent training, grief and loss counseling, domestic violence support, and career planning.

Children’s counseling

TPC utilizes Play Therapy with children. Play Therapy recognizes the normal communicative and learning processes of children. Therapists strategically utilize play therapy to help children express what is troubling them when they do not have the verbal language to express their thoughts and feelings.
