Why Truuli Peak Counseling?

Truuli (pronounced true-lee) Peak is the highest point on the Kenai Peninsula. Finding a local name for our business was important to reflect our lifelong connection within our community. It also represents our avid enjoyment of the outdoors and the Kenai Peninsula’s natural beauty. As a historical reference point for early travelers navigating across the peninsula, the name for us represents the importance of having a navigational waypoint in our own lives to identify where we are at and how to get where we need to go. As the highest point, Truuli Peak's meaning may also reflect the value derived from seeing things from a different perspective. At the summit, with a birds-eye view of the surrounding area, you may see routes and passageways not easily found otherwise.

Areas of Practice

COUNSELING

TPC provides marital and premarital counseling, family therapy, children's therapy, parent training, grief and loss counseling, domestic violence support, and career planning.

Children’s counseling

TPC utilizes Play Therapy with children. Play Therapy recognizes the normal communicative and learning processes of children. Therapists strategically utilize play therapy to help children express what is troubling them when they do not have the verbal language to express their thoughts and feelings.
